Houses get bought and sold; a home stays with you always. There’s a big difference in buying a house and having a home. Buying a house is just the first step. Making a home is what’s important. The homes we live in become an integral part of who we are. How many of us have driven by a home we moved out of years ago just to reminisce?  A home is where you feel comfortable, warm, safe and protected. Where purple polka dot pjs are welcome attire and eating Ben & Jerry’s out of the carton can be considered fine dining.  A home is where you invite friends and family to celebrate holidays or where you can shut the door to the outside world and enjoy quiet solitude.  Having a home is about establishing roots and making a lifetime of memories. From my home to yours, I wish you all a lovely Thanksgiving. With that, here are the homes that sold in the rivertowns in September.
